The backpack is getting closer to being completely packed. By this time tomorrow I should be officially packed.
One of the guys in work suggested I note down the contact details of the British Embassy in each country I'm visiting, plus the details of my banks in case my passport or credit cards go missing. That's an awesome idea but as with most things nowadays I just need to find time to do it.
I ordered some new iPhone headphones today to replace the set that fell apart last week. I tried to get some in Cardiff on the weekend but couldn't find any anywhere. Some moron tried to pass iPod headphones off as iPhone headphones and charge me £25 for the priveledge! Hopefully they'll arrive before Saturday otherwise three months with no music for me...
I got Rio booked, finally! I'm staying a block away from Copacabana beach which sounds seriously cool! I'm really looking forward to Brasil even though most of the guides I've read say it's really dangerous, and to never wander into a favella at anytime of day.

You'd be better off getting one of these adapters so that you don't have to rely on over-priced not as good Apple phones.

Don't forget to take some moist toilet paper with you - better safe than sorry....
Hey B,
I got myself the Belkin version. It's ridiculously humungous but I wanted to use my chunky headphones with my iPhone, but it turns out the quality of the standard Apple headphones is "good enough" so I've never used the thing.

No room in my case, Mike.
